Agathis labillardierei, described by Warb. in 1900, is a member of the Araucariaceae family and the genus Agathis. This species is indigenous to the island of New Guinea, where it is distributed across both Papua New Guinea and Western New Guinea. Commonly referred to as New Guinea Kauri, it is a significant tree within its native range.
