Araucaria muelleri is a conifer species in the family Araucariaceae, native to New Caledonia. It is a medium-sized tree, reaching 10–25 meters in height, and is distinguished by its larger leaves compared to other New Caledonian Araucaria species. It occurs in several locations in the far south of Grande Terre, the main island of New Caledonia.

Description

Araucaria muelleri is a member of the Araucariaceae family and is known as Mueller's araucaria. It is a medium-sized coniferous tree, growing up to 25 meters tall. The species is characterized by its relatively large foliage, which differentiates it from other Araucaria species found in New Caledonia. It is endemic to New Caledonia and is found in the southern regions of Grande Terre. First described in 1871, it is one of several Araucaria species native to the region.
