Prosartes maculata (Buckley) A.Gray, commonly called yellow mandarin, is a species of the Liliaceae family. It is found in several U.S. states, including Vermont, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The plant was first described in 1844 and is characterized by its spring-flowering habit. It is also known by the common names spotted mandarin and nodding mandarin.
