Prosartes trachycarpa, known as rough-fruit fairy-bells, is a plant in the Liliaceae family. It is native to North America and has a wide distribution, ranging from British Columbia to Ontario and extending south to Arizona and New Mexico. An isolated population has also been recorded on Isle Royale in Lake Superior.

The species was first described in 1871 by S. Watson.
