Philydrella pygmaea is a plant species in the family Philydraceae, native to Western Australia. It was first described in 1810 as Philydrum pygmaeum by Robert Brown and later reclassified into the genus Philydrella by Teodoro Caruel in 1878.

Description

Philydrella pygmaea belongs to the Philydraceae family and is found in Western Australia. Originally named Philydrum pygmaeum by Robert Brown in 1810, the species was later moved to the genus Philydrella by Teodoro Caruel in 1878. The scientific name was formally published in 1881.
