Helmholtzia acorifolia is a plant species in the family Philydraceae, native to the Wet Tropics bioregion of Queensland, Australia. It was first described in 1866 by Ferdinand von Mueller.

Helmholtzia acorifolia, also known as kuranda or puckerum, is a member of the Philydraceae family. This species is found in the Wet Tropics bioregion of Queensland. It was scientifically described by Ferdinand von Mueller in 1866.
