Cratoxylum sumatranum (Jack) Blume, described in 1856, is a tall tree species in the Hypericaceae family. It is distributed across Borneo, Jawa, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, the Philippines, Sulawesi, and Sumatera. This species can reach heights of up to 51 meters (167 feet). It is locally harvested for its timber and as a source of fuel.
