Agathis microstachya is a conifer species in the family Araucariaceae, known as the Atherton Kauri Pine. It is native to Australia and was described in 1918 by J.F. Bailey and C.T. White. The species is under threat due to habitat loss.

Description

Agathis microstachya, also referred to as the Atherton Kauri Pine, is a member of the Araucariaceae family. It is found exclusively in Australia, particularly in Queensland. The species was formally described in 1918 by botanists John Frederick Bailey and Cyril Tenison White. Due to ongoing habitat degradation, it is currently at risk of decline.
