Erythronium tuolumnense, known as the Tuolumne fawn-lily, is a flowering plant in the Liliaceae family. It is native to the Sierra Nevada region of Tuolumne County, California, where it grows between 600 and 1,000 meters in elevation. The species is restricted to specific areas along Italian Bar Road and at the headwaters of Deer Creek.

Description

Erythronium tuolumnense is a member of the Liliaceae family and is commonly referred to as the Tuolumne fawn-lily or Tuolumne dog's tooth violet. Despite these names, it is not a true lily or violet. This species is endemic to Tuolumne County in California, specifically within the Sierra Nevada range. It is found at elevations from 600 to 1,000 meters, with known locations along Italian Bar Road and at the headwaters of Deer Creek. The plant was first described in 1930 by Applegate.
