Rossioglossum oerstedii

Rossioglossum oerstedii belongs to the Orchidaceae, a diverse family of flowering plants commonly known as orchids. This species is found in the tropical regions of Costa Rica and Panamá. The name was first proposed by Rchb.f. and later reclassified under the genus Rossioglossum by M.W. Chase and N.H. Williams in 2008. The genus Rossioglossum is part of the Orchidaceae and is known for its epiphytic growth habit and distinctive floral morphology.
