Rossioglossum insleayi (Baker ex Lindl.) Garay & G.C.Kenn.

Rossioglossum insleayi is an epiphytic orchid species native to Mexico, found in the humid high oak and pine forests of the Pacific region. It was first described by Baker in 1840 and later reclassified into the genus Rossioglossum by Garay and Kennedy in 1976.
Description
This orchid species belongs to the Orchidaceae family and is distributed in central and southwestern Mexico. It thrives as an epiphyte in high-altitude humid forests. The species was originally described in 1840 by Baker, who attributed it to another genus. In 1976, Garay and Kennedy formally transferred it to the genus Rossioglossum, establishing its current scientific name.
