Raphidiocystis jeffreyana is a species in the gourd family, Cucurbitaceae, native to several countries in central and eastern Africa. It was first described in 1962 by R.Fern. and A.Fern.

Description

Raphidiocystis jeffreyana is a member of the Cucurbitaceae, or gourd family, and is part of the genus Raphidiocystis. This species is found in a range of African countries including Burundi, Cabinda, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zaïre. The plant was formally described in 1962 by R.Fern. and A.Fern. Its distribution is primarily within tropical regions of central and eastern Africa.
