Amentotaxus poilanei is a conifer species in the Taxaceae family, native to Vietnam. It is known by the common name Poilane's Catkin Yew and was formally described in 1990.

Description

Amentotaxus poilanei belongs to the genus Amentotaxus and is part of the yew family, Taxaceae. This species is endemic to Vietnam and is distinguished by its unique characteristics typical of the Taxaceae family. It was first described in 1990 by D.K. Ferguson, based on earlier work by Ferré and Rouane. The species is commonly referred to as Poilane's Catkin Yew in English and other languages.
