Petalostigma pubescens, known as the quinine bush, is a rainforest tree native to Papua New Guinea, Queensland, Northern Territory, New South Wales, and Western Australia. It was first described by the botanist Karel Domin in 1927.

Description

Petalostigma pubescens is a species in the genus Petalostigma of the family Picrodendraceae. It is found in a range that includes New Guinea and several regions of Australia. The species was formally published in 1927 by Karel Domin.
