Owenia cepiodora is a medium to large tree species in the Meliaceae family, native to the rainforests of north eastern New South Wales and adjacent Queensland. It is primarily found in drier hoop pine rainforests along the state border. Due to historical logging, only small regrowth trees remain. The species is currently listed as vulnerable with a ROTAP rating of 2VCi.

Owenia cepiodora, described by F.Muell. in 1880, is a member of the Meliaceae family. The species has experienced significant decline due to past logging activities, and its current population consists mainly of small regrowth trees.
