Owenia acidula, known as emu-apple, is a tree native to Australian outback woodlands. It can reach heights of up to ten metres.

Description

Owenia acidula (F.Muell.) is a species in the Meliaceae family, found in New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia. It is a small to medium-sized tree, commonly referred to as emu-apple. The species was first described in 1857.
