Orites acicularis is an angiosperm species native to Tasmania, Australia, and is part of the Proteaceae family. It was first described in 1810 by Robert Brown and later reclassified as (R.Br.) Roem. & Schult. in 1818.

Description

Orites acicularis, commonly known as yellow bush, is a plant species found only in Tasmania. It belongs to the genus Orites and is a member of the Proteaceae family. The species was first documented by Robert Brown in 1810 in the Transactions of the Linnean Society of London. Its scientific name was later revised and published in 1818.
