Musa sikkimensis, described by Kurz in 1878, is a member of the Musaceae family. Its natural distribution spans from the Indian state of Sikkim, extending eastward through the Himalayas into northern Myanmar. This species is native to several countries including India, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
