Musa nagensium is a species in the genus Musa, native to the Eastern Himalayas and parts of Southeast Asia. It is found in India, Myanmar, and western Yunnan in China, growing in humid, forested areas between 400 and 1100 meters in elevation.

Description

Musa nagensium, described by Prain in 1904, belongs to the family Musaceae. Its distribution includes Assam, South-Central China, the East Himalaya, Myanmar, and Thailand. This species typically inhabits forested ravines with high humidity. It is part of the genus Musa, which includes various banana and plantain species.
