Uvularia puberula is a native plant found in the eastern United States, primarily in Virginia, North and South Carolina, West Virginia, and adjacent regions of Georgia, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. It also occurs in isolated populations in southern Georgia, northern Alabama, southern New Jersey, and Long Island, New York. The species is commonly referred to as mountain bellwort and is part of the Colchicaceae family.
