Erythronium mesochoreum, known as midland fawnlily, is a member of the Liliaceae family. It is native to several U.S. states including Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. The species was first described in 1891 by Knerr.
