Lithops julii is a succulent plant species in the Aizoaceae family, native to the Cape Provinces and Namibia. It was first described in 1926 by N.E.Br., based on collections by Dinter and Schwantes. The species is named after Julius Derenberg.

Description

Lithops julii is a member of the genus Lithops, known for its stone-like appearance. It is found in Southern Africa, particularly in the Cape Provinces and Namibia. The species was first collected by German botanist Kurt Dinter and later formally described in 1926. It was named in honor of Julius Derenberg, a friend of Dinter.
