Crinodendron patagua, known as the lily-of-the-valley-tree, is an evergreen tree native to central Chile and the Juan Fernández Islands. It grows between 33° and 36° South latitude, reaching elevations of up to 1200 m. The species thrives in moist environments, particularly in ravines.

Description

Crinodendron patagua belongs to the Elaeocarpaceae family and was first described by Molina in 1782. This tree is endemic to Chile and is adapted to wet habitats. It is commonly found in ravines at elevations up to 1200 m above sea level. The species is also known by the common name patagua.
