Koelreuteria bipinnata, known as Goldenrain tree, is a deciduous tree native to southern China. It grows 7–20 metres tall and is notable for blooming in summer. The species has a lifespan of 50 to 150 years and is few branched.

Description

Koelreuteria bipinnata (Franch.) is a member of the family Sapindaceae. It is found in China South-Central, China Southeast, and Vietnam, and has been introduced to the conterminous 48 United States and Alabama. This species was published in 1886. It is one of the few trees that bloom during the summer season.
