Gisekia pharnaceoides L., a species from the Gisekiaceae family, is widely distributed across Africa, parts of Asia, and the southern United States. It was first described in 1771.

Description

Gisekia pharnaceoides L. belongs to the Gisekiaceae family and is native to regions including Togo, India, Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabinda, Cameroon, the Cape Provinces, the Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Florida. This species was formally published in 1771 and is part of the genus Gisekia. Its broad geographic range spans from North Africa through Sub-Saharan Africa and into parts of Asia and the southern United States.
