Tsuga forrestii, described by Downie in 1923, is a conifer in the Pinaceae family, commonly known as Forrest hemlock. It is native to northeast Guizhou, southwest Sichuan, and northwest Yunnan in China, where it occurs in mountain and valley forests at elevations of 2,000–3,000 m.

Description

Tsuga forrestii is a species of conifer in the Pinaceae family, found in China's South-Central region. It is sometimes classified as a variety of Tsuga chinensis. This tree grows in mixed forests in mountainous and valley regions at altitudes between 2,000 and 3,000 meters. Its distribution is limited to specific areas in Guizhou, Sichuan, and Yunnan provinces.
