Eucryphia glutinosa, known as brush bush, nirrhe, and guindo santo, is a species in the Cunoniaceae family. It is native to Chile, found in the Maule, Ñuble, Biobio, and Araucania regions. The plant grows as a deciduous shrub or small tree, reaching up to 10 m in height and 6 m in width. It features glossy dark green leaves that turn red in autumn and produces fragrant white flowers with four petals and prominent stamens in late summer.

Description

Eucryphia glutinosa is a flowering plant species from the Cunoniaceae family. It is endemic to central Chile, where it thrives in moist woodland environments. The plant can grow to a height of 10 m and a width of 6 m. Its leaves are glossy dark green and change to red in autumn.
