Marsilea aegyptiaca Willd., commonly known as Egyptian Water-clover, is a species in the family Marsileaceae. It is distributed across the Afrotropical and Palaearctic regions, including countries such as Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Greece, India, and others. The species was first described in 1810.

Description

Marsilea aegyptiaca is a member of the Marsileaceae family, a group of aquatic ferns. It is native to a wide range of regions, including parts of Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. The species is found in countries such as Botswana, Cape Provinces, Egypt, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Namibia, Northern Provinces, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and others. It was first published by Willd. in 1810.
