Dolichandra cynanchoides is a species in the Bignoniaceae family, native to parts of South America including Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It was first described in 1832 by Cham. and is distinguished by its light purple branchlets, reflexed corolla lobes, and stipitate ovary. It flowers from December to February and fruits in February.

Description

Dolichandra cynanchoides is a member of the Bignoniaceae family and is found in several South American countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It is characterized by light purple branchlets, which differentiate it from other Dolichandra species that have green branchlets. Additionally, it has reflexed corolla lobes and a stipitate ovary, contrasting with the straight corolla lobes and sessile ovary found in other species of the genus. This species flowers from December to February, with fruiting occurring in February.
