Description
Dipteris conjugata, described by Reinw. in 1824, is a member of the Dipteridaceae family. It is distributed across TW, Borneo, Cambodia, Fiji, Hainan, Jawa, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, Maluku, Nansei-shoto, New Caledonia, New Guinea, the Philippines, Queensland, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Taiwan, and Thailand. This fern grows in a variety of habitats, including clearings, mountain ridges, and the edges of forests. Its fronds are distinctly lobed and toothed. The species has some native medicinal uses, though they are limited in scope.
