Eschscholzia glyptosperma is a species of poppy in the Papaveraceae family, commonly known as Desert Golden-Poppy. It is native to the southwestern United States, including Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah. The species was first described in 1885 by Greene.

Description

Eschscholzia glyptosperma is a poppy species that grows in arid regions of the southwestern U.S. It is also referred to as desert gold poppy or Mojave poppy. The plant is adapted to desert conditions and is part of the Papaveraceae family, which includes other poppy species. Its distribution is limited to Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah. The species was scientifically described in 1885 by the botanist Greene.
