Blandfordia cunninghamii, known as Christmas-bell, is a flowering plant in the family Blandfordiaceae. It is a perennial herb found in the Blue Mountains and Illawarra regions of New South Wales, eastern Australia. The plant features long, narrow leaves and produces twelve to thirty large, red, bell-shaped flowers with yellow tips. It was first described by Lindl. in 1845.

Description

Blandfordia cunninghamii is one of four species in the genus Blandfordia. It is characterized by its tufted growth habit and showy red flowers that droop and have yellow-tipped ends. This species is endemic to New South Wales, where it grows in the Blue Mountains and Illawarra regions. The plant is a perennial herb with linear leaves and is part of the Blandfordiaceae family. The species was published in 1845 by Lindl.
