Blandfordia nobilis, known as Christmas bells or gadigalbudyari in the Cadigal language, is a flowering plant native to New South Wales, Australia. It is a perennial herb with narrow, linear leaves and produces three to twenty large, drooping, cylindrical to bell-shaped flowers that are brownish red with yellow tips. This species is one of four Blandfordia species referred to as Christmas bells and is found along the coast and ranges south of Sydney.

Description

Blandfordia nobilis belongs to the family Blandfordiaceae and was first described in 1804. It is a tufted perennial herb characterized by its narrow leaves and distinctive flowers. The plant is endemic to New South Wales and is part of the Blandfordia genus. Its flowers are notable for their coloration and shape, making it a recognizable species in its native habitat.
