Tsuga chinensis, known as the Chinese Hemlock, is a coniferous tree native to China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The tree's range extends as far south as the mountains of northern Vietnam, a recent discovery. It belongs to the Pinaceae family.

Description

This species is part of the genus Tsuga within the Pinaceae family. The tree's variability has led to the recognition of multiple varieties, with some being classified as separate species by different taxonomic authorities.
