Cibotium chamissoi, known as Chamisso's manfern, is a species in the genus Cibotium of the family Cibotiaceae. It was first described in 1824 by Kaulf. This fern is native to the Hawaiian Islands and the Mariana Islands.

Description

Cibotium chamissoi is a member of the Cibotiaceae family and is part of the genus Cibotium. It is commonly referred to as Chamisso's manfern in both English and other languages. The species was formally published in 1824 by the botanist Kaulf. It is naturally distributed across the Hawaiian and Mariana archipelagos, where it grows in tropical environments. The plant is named after the naturalist Adelbert von Chamisso, who contributed to botanical exploration in the Pacific region.
