Tetrodontium brownianum, known as Brown's Four-tooth Moss, is a moss species in the family Tetraphidaceae. It is found in Labrador, Québec, Southeastern regions, Northern areas, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The species was first described in 1824.

Description

Tetrodontium brownianum is a moss species that occurs in various regions across North America and Europe, as well as in parts of Asia and South America. It is found in Labrador, Québec, and extends to the Southeastern and Northern parts of the continent. The species is also present in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Its range includes Washington state and British Columbia on the west coast of North America, and from Newfoundland to Ohio on the east coast. Additionally, it is found in countries such as Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, and Chile. The species was first described in 1824 by Schwägr.
