Baloskion pallens

Baloskion pallens is a member of the Restionaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly found in southern hemisphere ecosystems. This species is distributed across the states of New South Wales and Queensland in Australia. The scientific name was established in 1998 by B.G.Briggs and L.A.S.Johnson, incorporating the original work of R.Br. The genus Baloskion is characterized by its grass-like or sedge-like appearance, with species often adapted to wetland or moist environments.
