Baloskion australe, known as the southern or mountain cordrush, is a perennial herb native to southeastern Australia. It is found in the states of New South Wales, Tasmania, and Victoria.

Baloskion australe (R.Br.) B.G.Briggs & L.A.S.Johnson is a member of the plant family Restionaceae. This species is distributed across the southeastern regions of Australia, including New South Wales, Tasmania, and Victoria. It was formally described in 1998.
