南方白坚木

Aspidosperma australe 是 Apocynaceae 科的植物，中文名為南方白堅木。此種於 1860 年由 Müll.Arg. 發表，分佈於巴西東南部、巴西西南部、巴西西中部、巴拉圭、阿根廷東北部與玻利維亞等地。根據 Müller-Argoviensis 的原始描述，此種的模式標本來自 Sellow 的採集（Sellow B 1645 - c 77?），目前保存於 BR。後續研究進一步確認 BR 0000005783724 編碼的標本為第二步驟的選模式。
Description
Aspidosperma australe 的分類歷史上，Woodson（1951）曾引用 Sellow 的採集作為模式，但未說明其保存地點。後續研究根據 ICN 第 9.17 條，選取保存最佳的標本作為選模式。Sellow 的採集時間據推測為 1818 至 1820 年間。此外，Silveira（1921）在命名 A. bellohorizontinum 時曾使用連字符，但因該名稱來自城市名稱，根據 ICN 第 60.11 條，連字符被刪除。
