Description
Voyria tenella thuộc chi Voyria, họ Gentianaceae, được mô tả lần đầu vào năm 1830. Loài này có phạm vi phân bố rất rộng, bao gồm các quốc gia như Brazil (miền Bắc, Đông Bắc, Đông Nam, Tây Trung tâm, Nam), Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cộng hòa Dominica, Ecuador, Guiana Pháp, Guatemala, Guyana, Belize, Bolivia và nhiều khu vực khác. Trong phạm vi Brazil, loài này được ghi nhận ở các khu vực như Parque Nacional Natural Paramillo, Parque Nacional Natural Los Katíos, Puerto Parra, Sucre, Amazonas, Antioquia, Bolívar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, La Guajira, Nariño, Santander, Tolima, Valle, các khu vực Tadó và Condoto, cũng như khu mỏ San Juan.
