Melocactus intortus
Melocactus intortus (Mill.) Urb.
Melocactus intortus, còn được gọi là cây xương rồng đầu Ả Rập, là một loài xương rồng đặc hữu của vùng Caribê. Loài này thuộc họ Cactaceae và được phát hiện lần đầu vào năm 1919.
Description
Melocactus intortus phân bố chủ yếu ở các đảo Caribê như Bahamas, Leeward, Puerto Rico, Turks và Caicos, cũng như Windward. Loài này có tên khoa học do (Mill.) Urb. đặt và thuộc chi Melocactus. Đây là một loài xương rồng đặc trưng với hình dạng giống thùng chứa.
