Gynostemma pentaphyllum (Thunb.) Makino là một loài dây leo, sống ở nhiều khu vực như Đài Loan, Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Trung Quốc, Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc, Indonesia, Lào, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal và nhiều nơi khác. Loài này thuộc họ Cucurbitaceae và được công bố năm 1902.
