Labrador, Québec, Madeira Adası, Flandiya, Güneydoğu, Vermont (ABD), Norveç, Danimarka, Lüksemburg, Belçika ve diğer bölgelerde bulunur.

Plagiothecium denticulatum, karayosunları familyasının Plagiotheciaceae üyesidir. Bu tür, Labrador, Québec, Madeira Adası, Flandiya, Güneydoğu, Vermont (ABD), Norveç, Danimarka, Lüksemburg, Belçika, Flemish Region ve Walloon Region'da bulunur. Bilimsel olarak 1851 yılında (Hedw.) Schimp. tarafından tanımlanmıştır. Yayılım alanı genellikle soğuk ve nemli bölgeleri kapsar. Bu tür, karayosunları grubuna ait olup, genellikle ağaç kabuklarında ve kayalarda yaşar.
