Orthostichella versicolor (Müll.Hal.) Hampe, 1870 yılında tanımlanmış, Orthostichellaceae familyasına ait bir bitki türüdür. Bilimsel adı, bu türün ilk olarak Müller Halbig tarafından tanımlandığını ve ardından Hampe tarafından yeni bir sınıflandırmaya dahil edildiğini gösterir.
