Description
Opuntia streptacantha มีลำต้นที่กว้างประมาณ 60 ซม. ใบพืชมีความยาว 32-40 ซม. ความกว้าง 23-35 ซม. และความหนา 2-3 ซม. มีขนสั้นสีดำและมีสเกลบางเบา จุดยอดมีสีเหลืองน้อยและมีขนสีขาวน้อยมาก ใบอ่อนมีก้านชัดเจนและมีขนสีน้ำตาลถึงดำ ดอกมีลักษณะรูปไข่ ยาว 5.5-6.1 ซม. มีสีเหลือง พบในหลายประเทศ เช่น อิตาลี มอลตา ออสเตรเลีย และเม็กซิโก
