Description
Hyacinthoides hispanica เป็นหนึ่งในประมาณหนึ่งโหลชนิดในสกุล Hyacinthoides ซึ่งรวมถึง Hyacinthoides non-scripta หรือที่เรียกว่า Bluebell ในทางตอนเหนือของยุโรปตะวันตก และ Hyacinthoides italica ที่พบในภูมิภาคเมดิเตอร์เรเนียนทางตะวันออก ปัจจุบันมีการกระจายพันธุ์ไปยังหลายพื้นที่ เช่น นิวฟันด์แลนด์ บริติชโคลัมเบีย ออนแทรีโอ โปรตุเกส ประเทศเดนมาร์ก ฟินแลนด์ โครเอเชีย ไอร์แลนด์ เบลเยียม ฝรั่งเศส เนเธอร์แลนด์ สหราชอาณาจักร อิตาลี นอร์เวย์ กรีซ และอื่น ๆ ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์นี้ถูกตีพิมพ์ครั้งแรกในปี ค.ศ. 1944
