Description
Phyllostachys aureosulcata는 1945년 McClure에 의해 발표된 종이다. 이 종은 중국 북중부와 중국 동남부 외에도 미국 동부 주들인 앨라배마, 조지아, 키프로스, 메릴랜드, 사우스캐롤라이나, 테네시, 버지니아, 웨스트버지니아 등지에서 분포한다. 줄기(구름)의 홈에 노란색 줄무늬가 특징이며, 빠르게 번식하는 러닝 바나나의 한 종류이다. 이 종은 주로 정원이나 공원에서 장식용으로 사용된다.
