Nepenthes gracilis는 네펜테이스과에 속하는 흔한 저지대 피트 식물로, 수다 지역에서 널리 분포한다. 보르네오, 캄보디아, 말레이 반도, 싱가포르, 수라웨시, 수마트라, 태국에서 기록되었다. 해발 0~1,100미터까지 분포하지만 대부분 100미터 이하에 서식하며, 1,000미터 이상에서는 드물다.
Description
Nepenthes gracilis는 다른 종과의 자연 잡종이 드물 정도로 분포가 넓지만, 특정 지역에서만 자주 발견된다. 이 종은 1840년에 Korth.에 의해 발표되었으며, 현재까지 널리 연구되고 있다. 이 식물은 다양한 환경에서 생육할 수 있지만, 고지대에서는 희귀하다.
