Lindernia dubia (L.) Pennell
Lindernia dubia는 Linderniaceae과에 속하는 일년생 식물로, 황색 씨 가짜 페머넬 또는 습지 페머넬이라는 별칭으로 알려져 있다. 북미에서 칠레까지 넓게 분포하며, 다른 대륙에서도 도입된 종으로 발견된다. 습지, 강가, 연못 주변, 초원에서 자라며, 높이 30cm 이상의 직립 또는 가지치기 줄기를 가진다. 잎은 대생하며, 길이 1~3cm, 난형 또는 날카로운 형태로 톱니가 있을 수도 있다. 꽃은 상부 잎겨드랑이에 형성되며, 5개의 선형 꽃받침과 1cm 길이의 백색 또는 보라색 관형 꽃이 특징이다. 열매는 노란 씨를 가진 씨방과이다.
Description
Lindernia dubia는 1935년에 발표된 식물로, Gratiola dubia L. (1753)의 불법 대체 명칭으로 제시되었다. 이 종은 주로 습지에서 자라며, 환경에 따라 Scrophulariaceae 또는 Plantaginaceae과로 분류되기도 한다. 줄기는 직립하거나 가지가 나며, 잎은 대생하며 형태와 크기가 다양하다. 꽃은 상부 잎겨드랑이에 피며, 백색 또는 보라색의 관형 꽃이 특징이다. 씨방과는 노란 씨를 포함한다. 북미, 유럽, 중미, 남미, 아프리카, 아시아 등지에서 발견되며, 다양한 습지 환경에서 자라며 생태적 분포가 넓다.
