Leucadendron tinctum, the spicy conebush, is a shrub in the Proteaceae family. It is native to the Western Cape region of South Africa, growing in areas like the Hex River Mountains, Hottentots Holland Mountains, and Langeberg. The plant can reach a height of 1.3 m and flowers from July to August. It is part of the fynbos vegetation.

Description

Leucadendron tinctum is a shrub species described by I. Williams in 1968. It is found in the Western Cape, particularly in the Hex River Mountains, Hottentots Holland Mountains, and Langeberg. The plant is part of the fynbos biome and grows to about 1.3 m in height. It produces flowers between July and August. This species is part of the Proteaceae family and is known by the common name spicy conebush.
